Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Make sure the Wi-Direct is on - Press and hold the Information button for at least three seconds to light all the buttons, then press the Information, Cancel and Resume buttons at the same time.

Please somebody help, I am quite literally losing my sh*t over here. This is unbelievably frustrating.
I have already read a forum from another lady with the same issues so I copied it and uninstalled everything from the laptop. I then googled the link for my exact printer to download, when I clicked download it just takes me to the HP Smart app in the app store on these windows laptops. So I redownloaded it all and tried again to face the exact same issue!!
I've been googling and cannot find any other suggestions, people have said on other posts to right click on the printer settings and click on printer properties to go to advanced tab and turn off the option '' Enable advanced printing features'' but god help me I've looked at the printer settings on EVERYTHING and I am unable to find this option.
I haven't had a single issue when using this printer when using it through my iPhone but my iPhone isn't printing the documents correctly and is jumbling the document up so it is vital I do it through the laptop.
Please somebody help, it is urgent I really need to print charity documents off ASAP before I run out of time 😞
I will need detailed answers step by step too because I am not tech savvy and I will be bald by the end of this if I am unable to find a solution ASAP. (And I'm female with lovely hair, please stop me from pulling it out LOL)
I have also been made aware that people when upgrading to windows 10 have faced this issue, but the laptop came with windows 10 so I am unable to recover and go back to an older system.

My printer is not working good only I print 2 pages and then printer is overheating, and car trig block the pages so if you have any solution, so please send a reply
The issue is resolved.
Please help! I set up a user id (my email) and a password. Both saved in my password list. However is not unlocking. I have been with HP support and they asked me to return the printer. There has to be a better way to reset the admin password.
Hi, please help me I'm stuck with this issue for quite a while. I cannot print from my Mac, but it works with my iPhone, so its not a device error.
I cannot print documents. It prints blank pages infinitely, printing "UNIRAST" and some unrecognised characters. The full tray is printed, all pages with 1 line of printing.
Neighter reinstalling or Big Sur update did not helped. I have this issue for months now.
But I can print flawlessly from my phone.
Please help!

This only happened while printing I`ve tried all sorts of suggestions none really apply to problem. I've had problems with this since day 1..other than the fact I'm enrolled in free ink and wasting a huge amt of paper...and enormous amounts of patience ...I'd junk it. This will be my last HP printer.... JK

I am attempting to print #10 envelopes, and while I had no issues last year printing, this year is different. The text that prints almost appears italic/broken. Letter size paper prints just fine, I have performed alignment, cleaning, basically any troubleshooting I can think of or google. below is an image of the issue, any help is much appreciated.

I have done everything I can to solve this problem, reinstalled twice, all the alignment are fine ,ink is HP just do'esnt want to print colour at all on cardstock, prints black, even taken black ink out & left tri colour on it's own still manages to print murky brown !!! Make my own cards & this is sending me bonkers, please help....

My printer no longer works. I tried all the solutions offered by HP support but nothing happened. However, when I plug in the printer, some lights appaear for a short time and then disappear. Then I can't start the printer. Has anyone ever had this problem and is there a solution?

The USB cable is brand new and is made for HP printers, so I know it is not the usb cable. The previous cable was not good anymore so it had to be changed.
My printer can not open and can not power on，could you please tell me Where can I send it to repaire，and it still have warranty.
After a while where I didn't use my printer, I tried to turn it on again. It's stuck initializing on one dot-- the bar is full but it won't go beyond that. I've unplugged it, held the button for 15-20 seconds, and plugged it back in and no dice. What do I do?
Purchased a new black cartridge from HP store, still produces blank sheets of paper from print, scan and copy. Have spent literally hundreds of dollars on cartridges. Still NO INK ON PAGES. Really pissed with this product. My other copier is a canon and it works fine. This printer does EVERYTHING CORRECTLY EXCEPT PUT PRINT ON THE PAGES IT DISPENSES. I can connect with it from my devices. It just does not put the ink on the pages!
We just installed an HP M751dn on our wired network. We used the HP Easy Start program version 12_9_8 to setup the printer on our Windows 7 machines. For most of our users, everything works.
On my machine, I followed the exact same steps but I cannot print any documents. It finds the printer, installs it, and prints a test page. But it will not print say a PDF or any other document.
The status field of the printers briefly says "Printing" but then says "Deleting ...".
I found a post saying to delete the print queue, but that did not work.
