Hello, I keep getting white lines on all my pages. I just replaced the cartridge, it's an original one sent by HP and I tried all the solutions offered but still doesn't work. I am thinking is the new cartridge, it might be defective. Anyone had this issue?

Try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

Unfortunately, they are out of stock on that model. I tried epson a few times and I was not pleased, they had to replace one printer three times within 2 months.

Tray open light won't turn off

I had to reload paper for the first time. I opened the tray, loaded paper and closed the tray. The 'tray open' light came on and won't turn off. I've opened and closed 100 times, I've powered on and off. I've checked the sensor. The support chat was of no help other than the general troubleshooting I already did. Help please!

Will not print from printer, but will from phone

Hi!

I have an Envy 5660 and until a few days ago it printed fine. It does not print at all now and does not even show docs in queue. It prints fine from my phone. I have uninstalled an reinstalled, tried wireless and corded, and went through all support recommendations from HP. It prints fine when it does from the phone on internal print. Will not print from any application on my computer. What can I do? I have restarted at least 4 times and turned the printer on and off more than that.

Receiving current error  AlertID: 8048 (scanWarning) SMS specification not found

 

Brand new out of the box, issue occurred after setting up the cartridges.

Is there a known fix for this?  I've seen other replies to reinstall software/driver.  But has not be confirmed if this is the correct fix.

HP ENVY 7640 Not Printing and Touchscreen is Blank

My corporate apartment has an HP ENVY 7640 All-In-One printer that is not working properly. I know it turns on because when I plug it in and push the On button, it makes noises. But the touchscreen is completely blank. I can't see anything on it.

It also is not printing at all. The HP software on my laptop indicates that the printer is at 62% level for both the black and color cartridges. But when I try to print the test page, I get nothing on paper. I've tried to align the cartridges and clean the cartridges, but nothing is printing on the paper. Is it possible that the ink somehow dried up (this printer is over four years old and is seldom used).

Officejet pro 8600 Printhead Issue

I have an Officejet Pro 8600 plus which began experiencing problems (streaks, etc.) with printing magenta and cyan inks.  I have run all diagnostics and cartridge cleaning several times. Replaced all cartridges (HP).  Diagnostics indicate that the "print head alignment failed". Removed print head and cleaned well and carefully, but still fails, and magenta/cyan still a problem. Considering replacing with new HP print head. Question: Should this solve the issue, or are there other possible failure mechanisms?  Hate spending big $$ for a solution that does not work!  Also don't want to upgrade and throw away lots of 950/951 ink.

I lost power for a few hours and when everything turned on again on my HP Office Jet Pro 6978 printer it gave me error code 0x6100004a.  I have turned printer on and off multiple times, check for paper jam multiple times, with machine on I unplugged both the electric power cord and the UMB cord multiple times and re plugged them both in.  Both together and separately also.  Nothing is working. Any suggestions?

It might be a security feature of the bank or you may need to turn on print background graphics, google example below

I get a message saying my printhead is missing or failed. Did you get this message? My printer is a large format 7610. Curiously it demurs as I reported but eventually it does print. Very unpredictable and vexing. Is your situation like this?

Envy 6055 E9 error

We just bought a brand new Envy 6055e printer. We used it once, and then unplugged it to save power. I needed to print something today and now I am only getting the E9 error code. I have turned it off, unplugged it, replugged it, and then turned it on countless times. Nothing. I have done the suggested factory reset twice. Nothing. I have connected it to a new wireless network. Nothing. I have made sure there is no paper jammed. I have allowed it to "attempt" to download "new firmware." Still nothing.

The Print and Scan Doctor simply says it needs a factory reset, DOES the factory reset, and then says everything is fine. Except it goes straight back to the E9 error. The HP Smart app can't even tell me what's wrong with it, just that there's an error. 

This printer was purchased for our business a week ago and I cannot use it for such. 

Please help.
