You're very welcome. I am happy to help. I want to give you instructions via a link I created on changing your ink status alerts to "Only... when I print." I am not sure if it is just a flaw in the system, but that setting you have selected now likes to give me some problems in other applications. Maybe that is why even the software is not informing you about your ink. This may be a step you will have to wait to find out if it has any affect on the matter or not but it is worth a try.

Thank you for quoting what I had actually read and now you see I tried to interpret it to fit in this situation as well. Very "broad" statement for the user guide to say that but this is good teamwork. Let me know if you get an ink alert once you change that setting. It may not affect your light but hopefully it will give you some kind of notification.
