My printer has stopped printing.
The printer is recognised by the system, and appears online, but if I try to print, the job stays on the print queue, and nothing ever prints.
If I eventually disconnect the printer I get an error message saying something like "Firmware Download aborted" or just a blank "HP1005 Error" dialog that clears itself. The bottom LED is solid green throughout.
I have removed the device from my printers, and then let plug and play re-install the drivers, but still get the same result.
I've tried this on both my wife's and my own laptop with the same result.
What can I try to get the printer working again?
