My 8600 is having this issue too. You've replied to at least a dozen posts from 8600 users denying that their printers are affected by HP's ridiculous update. Don't you think there might be a chance you're wrong? It sure seems like the 8600 is indeed one of the affected models, even though HP apparently doesn't care to fix it. Quit denying the problem. It's beyond frustrating that a product I paid good money for suddenly won't work because HP decided to force me to buy their overpriced ink.
