If the paper seems to snag at one point and then bunch up, try the following first. Remove the paper tray (which exposes the lower "guts" of the printer). Turn the machine upside down and look at the lower back bottom area. There are a number of small parts that can snag paper fragments and then cause persistant problems. Removed any tiny fragments of paper and....smooth printing. (You can see none of this from looking down via the upper roller part of the machine).
