So, at the very end of my tests:
- perfect with PC
- perfect with iPad using Pages and Airprint
- different behaviours with other iPad apps via Airprint (I tried just 3 apps, these are not Apple apps)
- on iPad from Pages to ePrint or Printer Control, different zooming depending on paper size selection. ePrint results are not the same as Printer control, results.
- after hte reset to factory, the printer works exactly as before.
- using a second iPad, same document and same apps, same results.
On my point of view, since:
- printer works perfectly
- Airprint is able to talk to the printer perfectly with Apple app
- print previews are ok in HP apps
HP apps apply a sort of standard border depending on the paper size, and consequently they zoom in/out the original document.
The exact dimension of the document is not a priority "inside" HP apps.
You were not able to replicate those things, but the only difference betwen our iPads is the default size of documents (mine is A4). Maybe this is the point.
