I have been working on getting my black ink to work for about a week now....and many hours. I, at this point, will NEVER, EVER purchase another HP product again. I have scoured all message boards, then saw there would be "live" help from "experts" today and tomorrow...I've been trying for an hour just to be able to get to this place to post a question! I have tried everything out there that has been suggested. Finally I saw the post to unscrew all the screws to get to the ink carriage-but of course you need a specialized screw driver-I cannot put anymore time and effort into this machine. It IS still under warranty, but that means finding a box, boxing it up, getting to a place to mail it...and before that, getting an address of where to mail it!
I am asking that an HP "expert" contact me, or that HP check my warranty and mail me (quickly) a new printer...a week without one has held me up on many tasks....I expected more from HP-the last printer I had lasted me over 10 years-this one, not even a year...I have gone through $100.00 of ink trying all of the hoops I have read to try....I'm very angry and disappointed.
