Re: slow printing with new Windows 8

I found the following item on google that helped me.

so, I changed it in the port settings from raw to LPR and put LPT1 (my first lineprinter port).

I also found an updated driver for Hewlett Parckard printer that said (microsoft) on one, and (hp) on another, so I went with the microsoft one, since I'm using windows 8.1

After those changes, it did not delay in its printing anymore, so I am back to my slick fast printing that I had on my XP machine.
