Ok, I have been using for several years my HP 6500 Wireless printer, I am using Windows 7 home. I have been using these two for several years with no problems. I was printing a shipping label from eBay like I do ALL THE TIME, and it ran out of black ink, I put a new HP cartridge in and it didn't like it, printed the label in magenta, even when set to print in black only it still printed in magenta. Some word pages printed in black and some printed in a combination of magenta and black.
I loaded a new HP cartridge, ran the clean print head several times, tried printing a word doc, just fine, printed in black, then tried printing shipping label, some of it printed in black and as it got the the right side of the label that became magenta. I think I am now out of magenta, and repeated attempts to print the label start out black on the left side and then became blue, now the entire freaking label is printing in blue. I used the copy function and selected black, and it copied in black.
I can't figure what's wrong, why would it print some of the pdf in black and then fade over to either magenta or now blue and why go from mostly black to now all blue?
HELP???
