My laptop is a Samsung Ultrabook series 5. Since upgrading from 8 to 8.1, it has had a problem with printers. In addition to the desk jet 1515, the Samsung also has similar issues with my Canon printer.. My other laptop, which is an HP with Windows 7, works fine with my Canon printer.
I just purchased the printer in Indonesia, where I am on a project. When I tried to install the software from the CD provided with the printer, I got a windows error, and could not use the CD. So the computer even has an issue with the installtion CD. I downloaded software from the internet. I have tried the print and scan doctor, as well as uninstalling/re-installing the software online. I still have the same issues.
Is anyone aware of problems specific to Samsung Ultrabooks upgraded from 8 to 8.1 causing printing issues?
