I'm super happy to hear that worked in Chrome :)
It's possible you were asked to convert the file because the concert tickets may not have been a PDF file to begin with.
Are you okay to use Chrome for the printing of your concert tickets? If not, I can certainly have a further look into why you couldn't do so from Safari. But, if you're happy using Chrome, that works as well.
I hope you have fun at your concert and can print many more tickets from Chrome in the future!!
