I saw your post about the printing issues you have been having. I would like to offer you my suggestion that just may help.
Try Uninstalling the Printer Software and restarting your computer. After the restart, reinstall the printer: HP Deskjet 2540 All-in-One Printer Drivers (Select your OS, Driver, Full Feature Driver, Download).
