Re: Replaced ink cartridge but still receiving error "printer may be out of ink" and won't

Hi Lora007,

 

I would like to start by checking the current firmware version. Please follow the instructions below.

 

1. From the Control panel, press Help (?) button, select Printer Information

2. Use the down arrow button to scroll to the 2nd screen

3. The current firmware revision will appear on the screen

 

If you current version is CLP1CN1322CR, do nothing. If however you have any other version please download and install the newest version here. OJP8600_N911g-n_R1322C.exe

 

If the issue persists, or if you already have the newest firmware version please use the steps in the following document to troubleshoot the issue. An 'Ink Cartridge Failure,' 'Incompatible Ink Cartridges,' or 'Ink Cartridge Problem' Error Message Displays on the All-in-One. Please note, although the title of this document is not descriptive of the issue you are expressing the solutions offered can resolve the issue you are experiencing.
