We recently purchased the Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and hooked it up as a network printer for both my husband and myself. The e-print works great. And I'm able to print from various website. When I attempt to print a Word document (Word 2007) this error message appears "Word cannot print because there is no default printer selected. Please select Printer." Under Print Setup I select "Officejet Pro 8600 Plus (Network)" and the option to Set Up as Default is grayed out. Under Options it says "Word cannot bring up properties dialog because the printer returned an error." And then a message comes up that says "Word cannot print. There is no printer installed." Under the START menu there is a printer wizard. I used that this morning, thinking it would set it up as the default printer, I went through the setup steps, but that did not work. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but am looking to the experts for help! Any assistance you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
