Deskjet 1055, says not found, but it is instaled, go to uninstall and it gives me error code

I can't uninstall it or install it.  I have Windows 7.  If I plug it in it says no found.  It is not under printers.  But when I go to control panel, programs and features it is listed.  I try to uninstall it and I get this error code 2081883398.  Help.  Need to be able to use my printer.
