Thanks but I have not found it helpful. The user guide is vague at best and not enough details and the info on the page pretty much is the same. I have the HP 2542 all in one. It will scan and send to my Desktop and I can make copies but when I try to print the documents I scanned and select the HP 2542 (network ) it does not print. It will not print anything. The cd installation on my desktop was successfull and I can access the beautiful HP photo gallery and print options for the pictures I scanned but I still cannot print. I even got desperate and resorted to the old fashion USB..no success.. I gave up on the chromebook ...the chrombook is the worst labtop I ever invested in , basically I bought a Samsung Galaxy tablet packaged differently... the printer is not cloud capable and HP software site gives an error and the only option I can use is Eprint so while im looking at this fancy new printer,I still had to drive to FedEx/ Kinkos. If I could get it to print from my desktop Dell Inspiron as good as it scans and copies I would keep it but as I student I need a reliable printer for school work and assignments so I can not take the chance and I dont have the time or enery to keep checking a website or forum for help. How can a product meant mainly to be a printer first be so difficult? not user friendly...lesson learned that sometimes simple is better...Dont be fooled by all the latest technology and bells and whistles and with companies saving money with no techical assistance or phone support...everything web or self service your better off going to Best Buy ,at least Geek Squad is there to help ! Its sad that customer's have to resort to helping eachother solve these problems.... :-( ...I just hope Wal Mart will give me an exchange or refund w/ my proof of purchase
