My Win 7 computer was printing normally to my Officejet Pro L7780 untill a couple of days ago - now I cannot print anything. The printer is connected wirelessly.
HP Solution Center reports that the L7780 is connected and I can print a Self-Test Diagnostic Page.
I have checked and where necessary corrected the following points:-
1. The Print Spooler is turned ON - I have cycled it several times to no effect.
2. The ink supplies are adequate. I replaced two that were low.
3. The printer shows as "Working properly" in Device manager.
4. I have reinstalled the L7780 drivers.
5. I have confirmed that the URL on the HP Network Configuration Page corresponds to the "Location" on Device Manager's printer properties.
6. I have run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, which reported no errors but would not print a test page.
7. I have shut down the printer, unplugged it for 10 seconds and restarted it.
8. Using HP Solution Center, I am able to scan a document to a file.
I am still unable to print from any program, including Word, Outlook and a text editor, after all the above!
Suggestions, please.
