Re: Printing is too light

I have a HP Photosmart 7525 that prints too light. (Barely can see it)   Ink has been replaced with HP cartridge. It happened previously and I exchanged the printer for a new one after only a couple of weeks. This one only worked a few days before it was doing the same thing.  I also loaded new drivers, tried to change the print quality setting and everything else I can think of.

I also cannot get this thing to print color.  I have looked for days for the way to set it.  I have gone into properties, preferences and Color management in advanced properties but that is written in Greek I guess. It makes no sense to me, the average Joe. Every other printer I have ever had had a setting in properties to simply print in Black and White or color, yes or no.

I've never had anything other than HP but after having problems with the drivers always having to be reloaded on the one I replaced with this new one and then this. Right now I'm just whining but we're starting to look around.  We need a reliable printer. Our printers get a good workout but our volume is only on the "high side of light".

Help, Please!   We've missed some important deadlines and if I can't get it fixed tonight we'll have to go exchange it for something else. Don't want to.

Sorry for the whining and TMI.
