I recently purchased a new computer going from a XP system to Windows 7 (64 bit). I've tried everything to get my Officejet Pro L7590 printer to work properly. I've installed all of the patches and updates on the HP website, and tried installing the printer several times.
The problem I'm having is that the printer will only print 1/2 of a page, and then a couple of pages with just one line of gibberish. I notice that if I'm printing one page and I open the printer queue, it will say (3/1) instead of just (1) for number of pages. This happens with several types of documents (Word, Excel, PDF, etc.). Even printing a test page as the same symptoms, but everything on my computer states that the printer is working properly, when clearly it isn't.
Any help with this problem would be extremely appreciated.
