I unchecked the Microsoft Web Services for Microsoft WS-Discovery, Microsoft-WSD Printer, and Microsoft WSD Scan and now the printer seems to go into Energy Saving Mode now. Before this, the color copy/printer light would continue to be lit and cycle through various colors and never dim. This could be progress. But not sure if those Microsoft Web Services are needed for HP Instant Ink subscription?
