You are so kind and understanding. When I check it out I'll let you know what cords are plugged in. There is a phone cord and something that looks like a blue earthlink or whatever it is. I'm going to wait until Saturday and hope to be kind. I got almost 5 yrs out of it. I'm thinking of getting the next model up 7955e. Since they don't last long, no sense in doing a lot of research.
