Fixing the HP Smart App Spinning Issue
- Check System Requirements: Ensure your device meets the system requirements for the HP Smart app.
- Reset the HP Smart App:
- Uninstall the HP Smart app from your device.
- Restart your device.
- Reinstall the HP Smart app from the official app store.
- Check for Updates: Make sure both your device's operating system and the HP Smart app are updated to the latest version.
- Restart your Printer and Device:
- Turn off your printer and device.
- Wait for 30 seconds and then turn them back on.
Wireless Connection Troubleshooting
Run a Wireless Network Test on your Printer:
- On the printer display, touch the Wireless icon to open the Wireless menu.
- Touch Settings, then select Wireless Network Test.
- The Wireless Network Test Report will automatically print.
Reconnect the Printer to the Network:
- Ensure your printer is connected to a secured Wi-Fi network.
- Open the Wireless menu, select Settings then Wireless Setup Wizard.
