When I run AirPrint on my iPad 18.5, the Print Center says my printer is out of paper when it is not. It simply proceeds to correctly print my document. The things I've done that don't make this erroneous message go away includes: reboot printer; update iPad iOS; reinstall HP SMART; reboot iPad; and unload and reload printer tray. This message 1st popped up 2 weeks ago while receiving installation help from HP tech support over the phone. But it disappeared after successful installation - until now when the out of paper message is back again. Everything else seems to work OK w.r.t. printing from iPad. Another thing is that I cannot get Print Center to run when using "Print with HP SMART" on my iPad. HP SMART does not appear to provide any display of print status on iPad. Is this normal? The real-time status of print jobs is particularly important on iPad and other mobile devices that are a distance away from the printer.
