@Vårin, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printhead Issues for HP OfficeJet 8010!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're experiencing a printhead problem with an event code 62.80.20 on your HP OfficeJet 8010, follow these steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Step 1: Reset the Printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  3. Wait for 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the printer and the power source.
  5. If the printer does not turn back on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

Step 2: Check for Obstructions

  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Inspect the carriage path inside the printer for any obstructions. Remove any paper jams or foreign objects.

Step 3: Reinsert the Printhead

  1. Lift the carriage latch.
  2. Grasp the sides of the printhead and slightly lift it without completely removing it.
  3. Reinsert the printhead into its carriage.
  4. Lower the carriage latch to secure the printhead.

Step 4: Clean the Printhead

  1. On the printer control panel, navigate to 'Setup' and then 'Tools.'
  2. Choose 'Clean Printhead' to run the automatic cleaning process.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
