Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To turn off the information light on your HP DeskJet 4155e printer, you can try the following steps:
Check for Errors: The information light often indicates an error or a need for attention. Press the information button (usually marked with an "i") to print a status report. This report can help identify any issues that need to be resolved.
Reset the Printer: If the light remains on, try resetting the printer. You can do this by:
- Pressing and holding the "X" button and the Wi-Fi button simultaneously for at least 15 seconds until the power button flashes.
- Alternatively, unplug the power cable from the back of the printer and the wall socket, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in.
Check Instant Ink Status: Sometimes, the information light can indicate an issue with the Instant Ink service. Ensure your subscription is active and there are no billing issues.
Update Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can do this through the HP Smart app or the HP website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
