@KhalidBou, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're dealing with a "Problem with the feeding system" error on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8719, which is typically related to issues with the paper feed or the cartridges. Here are a few troubleshooting steps that might help resolve the issue:

Check the Cartridges:

  • Make sure the cartridges are installed correctly and are not damaged. Even if you've replaced the yellow cartridge, sometimes a slightly misaligned or improperly installed cartridge can trigger the error.
  • Try removing the cartridges and reinstalling them to ensure they are seated properly.
  • If the cartridge is genuinely empty or faulty, replacing it with a new one from a trusted supplier could help.

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove the cartridges and gently clean the metal contacts on both the cartridge and the printer with a soft, lint-free cloth. This can help remove any dirt or debris causing a poor connection.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Look for any paper jams, debris, or dust that might be blocking the paper feed area. Sometimes a tiny piece of paper can be enough to prevent proper feeding and trigger errors.
  • Open the rear paper access and check for any stuck paper or debris.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a hard reset by turning off the printer, unplugging it for 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in. After the reset, turn it on and check if the error persists.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • If possible, ensure that the printer's firmware is up to date. You can do this via the printer’s control panel or through the HP Smart app on your computer.

Try Another Set of Cartridges:

  • If you have an extra set of cartridges or can borrow a known working set, you might want to try them to rule out a defective cartridge as the cause.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
