I changed all the cartridges and got this message "there is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP". I did the first part of that suggestion, but trying to talk to someone at HP was easier said than done. I turned the printer off and pulled the plug and tried again in the morning...this time I got this message "one or more cartridges appear to be damaged", They were NEW cartridges. I realize this printer is out of warranty, so I bought a new printer, HP Smart Tank Plus 651. I'm not liking the new printer, it does print 2 sided, but you have to take each sheet of paper and turn it and put it back in the printer, I print work sheets which are 2 sided, there's no way I can stand there and take each one out and put it back in to print the back...so the question is...do I spend another $30 for a cyan cartridge which I realized was leaking, and try again, or after already losing $128 on the new cartridges do I give it up and figure out how to live with the new printer?
Thanks for any opinions!!!
