Power Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure that all connections, including the power cable and any data cables, are secure.
  • If you're using a network connection, ensure that the network cable is properly connected.

Update Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website under your specific printer model.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Open the printer and check to ensure there is no paper jam or any obstruction in the print path.

Reset to Factory Settings:

  • If the above steps do not help, consider resetting the printer to factory settings. However, be aware that this will remove any custom settings or configurations you've applied to the printer.
