- Allow the contacts to dry before reinstalling the cartridge.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support Page and search for your printer model to download the latest firmware.
- Follow the instructions to update the printer's firmware.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. This utility can automatically diagnose and resolve many printing-related issues.
Reset the Printer:
- Restore factory settings to reset the printer:
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the Resume button, then press the Power button. Continue to hold both buttons for 15 seconds.
- Release both buttons. The printer should start with factory reset settings.
Check for Blocked or Jammed Paper:
- Ensure there are no paper jams or foreign objects inside the printer.
- Open the printer cover and check the paper path for any obstructions.
