@Cyclone3, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're encountering an issue with expired encryption credentials on your HP printer. This can prevent you from printing. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Reset Network Settings:
- Unplug your modem/router and leave it powered off.
- Restart your printer. From the printer control panel, touch "Setup".
- Touch "Network Setup", then "Restore Network Settings".
- Power off your printer.
Reconnect to the Network:
- Reconnect your modem/router and wait for it to re-establish its internet connection.
- Power on your printer.
- Run the Wireless setup wizard on the printer to connect it back to your network.
Update Printer Driver:
- On your computer, go to the printer settings.
- Remove the existing printer driver and add a compatible driver. For macOS, you can select AirPrint in the "Use" or "Print Using" menu.
Generate a New Self-Signed Certificate (if using macOS/iOS):
- Open the Embedded Web Server (EWS) from a Windows computer by entering the printer’s IP address in a web browser.
- In the EWS page, go to the "Network" tab, then "Advanced Settings", and click "Certificates".
- Select "Create a New Self-Signed Certificate" and follow the prompts to generate a new certificate.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
