@paulo0, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Yes! Since you've already tried a factory reset and the issue persists, it’s possible that the print jobs are stuck in the printer's internal memory rather than in a device queue. A hard reset should help completely clear any stored jobs.

Steps for a Hard Reset on the HP OfficeJet 3830:

1. Turn Off the Printer– Press the power button to turn off the printer.

2. Unplug the Power Cord– Disconnect the power cable from both the printer and the wall outlet.

3. Remove Any USB or Network Connections– If connected via USB or Wi-Fi, disconnect all cables.

4. Perform a Hard Reset:

With the printer unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any residual power.

5. Replug the Printer– Connect the power cable directly to the wall (avoid surge protectors).

6. Turn On the Printer– Power it on and wait for it to boot completely.

7. Check for Stuck Jobs– Before reconnecting to the network, go to the printer’s menu:

Tap Setup> Tools> Cancel All Print Jobs (if available).

8. Reconnect to the Network– Once the printer is idle, reconnect to Wi-Fi and check if the issue persists.

Additional Step: Reinstall the Printer

Since iOS devices sometimes keep a memory of printers, try removing the printer from your iPhone:

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Wi-Fi and "Forget" the printer.
  • Remove the printer from AirPrint printers list (under Settings > Printers & Scanners).
  • Restart your iPhone and re-add the printer.

Also, try updating the firmware!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
