Since the issue persists despite having ink left, the printhead could indeed be the culprit.

 

The good news is that the HP Smart Tank Plus 570 has replaceable printheads. You can try the following steps to confirm if replacing the printhead is necessary:

 

Remove & Reseat the Printhead: Sometimes, a loose connection can cause issues. Try removing the printhead and reinstalling it securely.

 

Check for Clogs Manually: If you’re comfortable, gently wipe the printhead with a lint-free cloth and distilled water to see if there’s any dried ink blocking it.

 

Print a Diagnostic Page: This will help determine if it's specifically the yellow printhead or something else affecting the output. You can do this from the printer’s control panel under “Printer Maintenance.”
