Restart Everything
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router.
- Restart your computer or device.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi
Since the Wi-Fi light is blinking, it means the printer lost connection. Try reconnecting it:
Option 1: Use WPS (If Your Router Supports It)
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until it starts blinking faster.
- Press the WPS button on your router and hold it for a few seconds.
- Wait until the Wi-Fi light on the printer stays solid, indicating a successful connection.
Option 2: Use HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Open the HP Smart App on your phone or PC.
- Select Set Up a New Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi light should stop blinking and stay solid.
Reset the Printer (If Needed)
If the steps above don’t work, reset the printer:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel (X) buttons together for 5 seconds.
- The printer will restart and enter setup mode.
- Use the HP Smart App to set up the printer again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
