Hi @Mamawof6,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

The error code Ebs00p0013 typically points to a network setup issue or a communication problem during the printer's initialization, particularly after a factory reset. Since the printer was working fine yesterday and stopped afterward, it suggests something went wrong during the setup or the network connection. Here's how to troubleshoot this error:

1. Check the Network Connection

Verify Printer's Network Settings:

  • After the factory reset, the printer needs to reconnect to the network. The error could occur if the printer cannot find or connect to your Wi-Fi network properly.
  • Recheck the network settings: Go to the printer's Network Settings or Wi-Fi Setup option (on the printer’s screen or web interface) and make sure it's connected to the right Wi-Fi network.
  • If using Wi-Fi, ensure that the SSID (network name) is correct and that the password is entered correctly.

Restart Your Router:

  • Sometimes the issue can be with the router, especially after a reset. Restart your router by turning it off for 30 seconds and turning it back on to clear any temporary issues.

Check Printer’s IP Address:

  • Ensure that the printer has been assigned a valid IP address on your network. You can print a Network Configuration Report (usually available in the printer's menu under network settings) to check this.
  • Make sure the printer is not using an outdated IP address or an IP that might conflict with another device.

2. Re-Setup the Printer

Re-run the Setup Process:

  • If the printer is still displaying the error after the factory reset, try starting the setup process again. Follow the steps carefully to ensure the printer is connected to your network:
    1. Turn the printer off and wait 30 seconds.
    2. Turn the printer back on and go through the setup process again, making sure to select the correct Wi-Fi network.

Use HP Smart App (if applicable):

  • If you’re using an HP printer, use the HP Smart app on your phone or computer. The app guides you through the setup process, and can sometimes resolve network setup issues better than using the printer’s screen or control panel.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
