Hi @Stefanos_Mak,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand how frustrating it must be to have a paper jam where part of the sheet is stuck inside your printer. Don't worry—I’ll guide you through the safest way to remove it and get your printer working again.
Step 1: Check for Jammed Paper in Different Areas
Since part of the paper is still inside, follow these steps carefully:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for safety.
- Check the input tray – Remove any loose paper. If part of the jammed paper is visible, gently pull it out using both hands. Avoid tearing it.
- Open the toner cartridge door – Remove the toner cartridge and look inside for the stuck paper. If found, gently pull it out in the direction of the paper path.
- Check the output bin – If any piece of paper is stuck there, remove it carefully.
⚠ Important: Avoid using sharp tools (like tweezers) as they may damage internal components.
Step 2: Reset the Printer
If the paper jam message still appears after removing the paper:
- Turn the printer off and unplug it from the wall.
- Wait at least 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
- Turn it back on and try printing again.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
