Restart Everything
- Restart the Printer: Turn it off, unplug it for a minute, then turn it back on.
- Restart Your Router: Unplug your router for about 30 seconds and plug it back in.
- Restart Your Computer: A fresh start can sometimes resolve connection glitches.
Check the Printer’s Network Connection
- On the printer’s touchscreen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings and check if it's connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- If it shows "Not Connected," reconnect it by selecting your network and entering the password.
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose and fix scanning issues automatically.
Check Windows Services (For Windows Users)
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down and find Windows Image Acquisition (WIA).
