@ramsqld,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Reconnect Printer to Your Home Wi-Fi

  1. On the printer screen, go to:
Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  2. Select your home Wi-Fi network and enter the password carefully.
  3. Once connected, print a Network Configuration Report:
    • Go to Setup > Reports > Network Configuration Page.
    • Look for an IP address (e.g., 192.168.x.x).

Check Printer’s IP Address & Manually Reconnect

If the printer has an IP address but still won’t print:

  1. Open a web browser on your PC.
  2. Type the printer’s IP address in the address bar (from the Network Configuration Page).
  3. If the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS) opens, the printer is connected.
  4. On your PC, go to:
    • Control Panel > Devices and Printers
    • Right-click your printer > Printer Properties> Ports
    • Select Standard TCP/IP Port, click Configure Port, and enter the printer’s IP address.

Remove and Reinstall the Printer (If It Still Won’t Print)

  1. Remove the printer from your computer:
    • Windows:
      • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners.
      • Click the printer and select Remove Device.
    • Mac:
      • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners, remove the printer.
  2. Reinstall using HP Smart:
    • Download HP Smart (Link Here).
    • Add the printer again and set it as Default.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
