We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It looks like your HP OfficeJet 4630 is experiencing multiple issues, starting with a Carriage Jam, followed by the OX83C0000A NOS_LOADER_APP error, and now the OXB8000448 error. Let’s troubleshoot step by step.
Reset the Printer
A power reset can sometimes resolve firmware-related errors.
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Disconnect any USB or network cables.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check if the error persists.
Inspect the Carriage Path
Even though the carriage moves, something might still be obstructing it.
- Open the front cover and check for any stuck paper or debris.
- Move the carriage manually to the left and right.
- If there’s resistance, gently clean the rails with a lint-free cloth.
- Close the cover and restart the printer.
Perform a Semi-Full Reset
If the error continues, try a Semi-Full Reset to restore the printer to factory defaults.
- Press Bottom Left/Top Left/Bottom Left/Bottom Left/Top Left buttons on the printer
- Bottom Left is Dash symbol.
- Top Left is Home Icon.
This will reset most settings and clear certain error codes.
Update or Reinstall Firmware
The OX83C0000A NOS_LOADER_APP error indicates a firmware issue. Try updating it:
- Go to HP’s official support website and download the latest firmware for the OfficeJet 4630.
- Connect the printer via USB and run the firmware update.
- Restart the printer and check if the issue is resolved.
Let me know how it goes!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
