Hi @KarunaHC21,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 is experiencing a print job corruption issue, potentially caused by a stuck or corrupted print queue, driver issues, or even a software conflict. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
Cancel All Print Jobs
- On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 and select See what's printing.
- Click Printer > Cancel All Documents.
Restart Printer & Computer
- Power off the printer.
- Unplug the printer from power for 2-3 minutes.
- Restart your computer.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check Connection & Reinstall Driver
- If you're printing over WiFi, check the connection.
- If using USB, try a different port.
- Uninstall and reinstall the HP drivers:
- Uninstall: Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program and remove any HP OfficeJet 6968 software.
- Reinstall: Download the latest drivers from HP’s official website and install them.
Try a Test Print
- Open Notepad, type something simple, and try printing to see if it works normally.
Reset the Printer
If the issue persists, reset the printer to factory settings:
- On the printer Control Panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Defaults.
- Confirm reset and restart the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
