@lexxorz, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the printer stops printing unexpectedly!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like you've tried a lot of troubleshooting steps already! Since the printer is working fine with test pages but not with your MIB inventory program, the issue might be software-related rather than hardware-related. Here are some additional steps to try:
1. Check Print Spooler Service
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
- Scroll down to Print Spooler.
- Right-click and Restart the service.
- Try printing again.
2. Use a Generic Print Driver
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP printer and choose Printer Properties.
- Go to the Advanced tab and select Driver.
- Try selecting a PCL6 driver or a Universal Print Driver (UPD) from HP’s website.
3. Try Printing as an Image
- Open the Print dialog from MIB.
- Click Properties or Advanced Settings.
- Look for an option like Print as Image (available in some applications).
- Try printing again.
4. Check Printer Timeout Settings
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on the printer and select Printing Preferences.
- Look for a Timeout or Job Handling setting and increase the timeout if possible.
Let me know if these help!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
