The E blinking light on the HP ENVY 6055e usually indicates an error state. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Check for Specific Errors
- If your printer has a display or status messages in HP Smart, open the app on your computer or phone to check for any specific error codes.
Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Check if the error clears.
Check Ink Cartridges
- Open the printer's front cover and check if the ink cartridges are properly installed.
- Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges to ensure a secure fit.
- If one of the cartridges is faulty, try replacing it.
Check for Paper Jams
- Open the rear access door and look inside for any jammed paper.
- Carefully remove any stuck paper.
- Close the door and restart the printer.
Reset the Printer
