@ddjoz, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Photosmart not printing!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Photosmart 7525 is displaying an "Originals Misfeed" error despite cleaning and resetting it, try the following steps:

1. Check the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

  • Open the ADF cover and look for any jammed paper or small debris.
  • Remove any stuck paper carefully without tearing it.
  • Wipe the rollers with a lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water to remove dust buildup.

2. Ensure Paper is Loaded Correctly

  • Remove all paper from the ADF.
  • Fan the pages and reload them properly aligned.
  • Ensure the paper guides are not too tight against the paper stack.

3. Check ADF Sensors

  • Some HP printers have small sensors that detect paper feeding.
  • If dirty or obstructed, gently clean them with a dry microfiber cloth.

4. Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from both the wall outlet and printer.
  3. Wait 2-3 minutes.
  4. Plug it back in and turn the printer on.

5. Try a Different Copy/Scan Method

  • If you're trying to copy, use the flatbed scanner instead of the ADF.
  • If scanning from a computer, try using HP Smart or another scanning software.

6. Update or Reinstall Printer Firmware

  • Visit HP Support and check for the latest firmware updates for your printer model.

Let me know how it goes!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
