If the ethernet cable is plugged in then Wi-Fi is disabled.

In my (limited) experience I have not seen any printers that allow USB and Wi-Fi to be used concurrently but I might be mistaken. Google could also be wrong.
Looking at the manual I read
To change from a wireless connection to a USB or Ethernet connection (Windows)
● Connect the USB or Ethernet cable to the printer.
I am pretty sure that means the wireless will not work anymore.
