Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Check the Wireless Connection
- Recheck Network Settings: Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, after a router reset, the printer may not automatically reconnect to the new Wi-Fi network.
- Re-enter Wi-Fi Settings:
- On the printer's control panel, go to the Wi-Fi settings and reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- You can also use the printer’s Wireless Setup Wizard from the settings menu to select your network and re-enter your Wi-Fi password.
Restart the Printer
- Unplug the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. This will reset any temporary glitches that might be causing the issue.
Check the Router and Network
- Signal Strength: Ensure your router is functioning well and provides a strong signal to the printer. If the printer is too far from the router, it might struggle to connect.
- Frequency Band: If your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, try switching the printer to connect to the 2.4 GHz band, as it generally offers better range.
- Router Settings: Check if the router has any restrictions, like MAC address filtering, which could prevent your printer from connecting.
