Hi @Arminda5

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Color Laser 150nw printer is printing the same content twice on the same page (a "double print" issue). This can happen for several reasons, including issues with the printer’s settings, software, or even the print driver.

Here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

1. Check Print Settings in the Application

Sometimes, the settings in the application from which you are printing (e.g., Word, Adobe Acrobat, etc.) might cause the document to print twice on the same page. Double-check the print settings:

  • Open the document you're printing.
  • Go to File> Print.
  • Ensure the Layout or Page Setup settings do not have a multiple copy or two-sided print option enabled.
  • Look for an option like Print Multiple Pages per Sheet or Multiple Copies and ensure it’s set to print one page per sheet.

2. Check Printer Settings (Driver Settings)

Printer drivers can sometimes cause unexpected printing behavior:

  • Open the Printers & Scanners settings on your computer.
  • Find your HP Color Laser 150nw and click Manage.
  • Select Printer Properties or Preferences.
  • Check the print settings here to make sure it’s set to print one copy per page, and ensure options like N-up Printing (multiple pages on one sheet) aren’t enabled unless you intend to use them.

3. Check for Duplex Printing Settings

If duplex (double-sided) printing is incorrectly enabled, it could cause a double print on the same side:

  • Go to Printer Properties and check if Duplex or Two-sided Printing is enabled.
  • If it's turned on, disable it and try printing again.

4. Reinstall or Update Printer Driver

A corrupted or outdated printer driver could be the cause of this issue:

  • Go to HP's website and download the latest driver for your HP Color Laser 150nw.
  • Uninstall the current printer driver from Control Panel> Devices and Printers.
  • After uninstalling, restart your computer and install the updated driver.
  • Try printing again after reinstalling the driver to see if the issue persists.

5. Reset the Printer

Sometimes, a reset can clear out any issues causing printing problems:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Try printing again and check if the double print issue is resolved.

6. Check for Firmware Update

An outdated printer firmware might cause unexpected printing behavior:

  • Go to the HP Support website and check for any firmware updates for your HP Color Laser 150nw.
  • If a firmware update is available, follow the instructions on the website to update your printer's firmware.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
