When I replaced my black ink cartridge with an HP original, I received Printer Failure Message.

My printer was working fine.  In the middle of a print job, I had to replace the black ink cartridge.  I did so with an original HP 950XL cartridge.  Immediately after doing so, the digital screen indicated "Printer Failure.  There is a problem with the printer or ink system."  I turned the printer off and cut it back on to no avail.  I have unplugged the printer, plugged it back in, turned it back on and off and back on again and I still get the same message.  I tried the Virtual Assistant but that was not beneficial.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!
