i have similar issue with a deskjet 2540..its only been out of the box 2 days and is brand new with new cartridges and was bought to print resumes on but will only print a max of 4- 5 pages before saying cant print and the file name ..i cant see any error code anywhere .
sorry the error box appears top right of my screen and im using os windows 8 and open office.
