Thank you for writing back to me with the information. You stated that you have uninstalled the software and drivers several times but I was just wanted to try it one more time but instead of using the cd to reinstall, I suggest that we use the updated software and drivers. Please remove the usb cable from the printer and from the computer (please leave it disconnected until further notice). On you computer, please click on Start, then go to All Programs, then go to the Yellow folder that says HP, Once in the folder click on your printer. You should see a file that says Uninstall that you can click on. Once the uninstall is complete you should be prompted to reboot your computer, please do so. When the computer is back up and running, please go into your devices and printers folder and make sure all has been deleted that has to do with HP. If you still see printers in the printer folder, you may have to go to Add/Remove programs and remove the HP files that just deal with your printer. Reboot the computer again. Once the computer is back up, please click on the link that I have provided with the HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One Printer Drivers and download the file to your desktop of your computer so that you can find it. After the download is complete, double click the icon and follow the instructions. Please do not connect the USB cable until prompted to do so.
If you require more assistance, please let me know.
Thank you.
