Hi gidmeister,
I understand you are unable to print and getting a message "printer mispick".
Thank you for your reply.
I will be happy to help you with this.
If you have any lights on for the toners then it could be a issue that you are using non HP toner.
I would do a power reset to see if that will resolve the issue. With the printer still turned on, disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer, if the printer has external power module with a detachable power cord disconnect it for 15 seconds and then reconnect it. Then disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet. Wait 10 seconds and reconnect the power cable back to the wall outlet first, then the back of the printer and power it on again.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector)
Try and print a hardware self test on the printer to find out if it is a hardware or
software issue. Printing a Configuration Page. Select Method one: Print a Configuration page from the printer control panel.
I have included a document for 'Out of Paper' Error Message Displays and the Printer Does Not Pick Up or Feed Paper.
If you require further help please provide the following information so I can assist you better.
What operating system are you using?
Here is a document to check your operating system for Windows or Mac.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)
Did the printer print the self test?
Hope this helps.
Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
